Description
Puozze sculà is the dialect way to wish to somebody to die. You will discover during this tour why we use this word. This tour lead us in a place full of faith and important social events. Historically Rione Sanità quarter is the necropolis of the city: cemeteries, catacombs and spring water. Nobles and artists were born in this area. Maybe it’s because of this that we are in a quarter rich in humanity and irony. Smorfia numbers, that are linked to this tour, are: 47 the dead (o’muort) and 48 the speaking dead (o’muort ca parla).
Route
- Meeting in Museo subway station, Line 1.
- Guided tour of San Gennaro’s and San Gaudioso’s Catacombs.
- We will taste the traditional pagnuttiello.
- We will see San Felice and Spagnuolo Palaces.
- Kisses and hugs.
